Work weekends are held each spring and fall. The time is used to open or close the lake, clean up the common areas and perform any required projects or maintenance. Participation helps to reduce costs and keep the monthly assessments low. The Forest Hill Park By-laws require one person over the age of sixteen (16) from each member household to participate. Failure to participate or sign-out after the full day will result in a $250 assessment. If you have a hardship that will prevent you from attending a work weekend, please contact the Board Secretary so that you can appear before the Board and request and exception.
Excerpt from Article IX, Section 3 of the By-Laws:

Should any Member choose not to participate in a work weekend, they will be fined [$200*]; or such other amount as the Board may from time to time determine, which fine shall be a lien on the Members interest and collectable in the same manner as an assessment. The Committee shall present a report to the Board as to the participants in and accomplishments of the work weekends.
